Default Wireless Router so my laptop can access web.

I just bought a laptop this past week and I still need to get a wireless router so that I can allow my laptop to access the web. I just wondered if any of you have any tips on which one to buy. There are so many routers, I didn't know if they were all the same or what.

This is just personal preference, but I have a Linksys router and really like it. it hasn't given me any problems.

Well even a great manufacturer can make a bad product. Find some reasonably priced routers and search on different shopping sites until you find the best value one with lots of great reviews!

Well, as it turns out, I didn't have a choice. The people where I get my service from makes you get them from them because a lot of the routers aren't compatible with their type service or something... Fine by me, it was much cheaper and easier. I now have a Lynksys! LOVE it BTW...
