Default Most embarrassing story at work?

I had one a few years back. When i worked for a travel agency around Christmas time. I used to throw nonworking pens in the Christmas tree and we were taking it down so i had to remove the pens. When i was doing that i pricked my finger as i was about to pick up the phone. I answered the phone saying "hello ,this is blah blah. this is teresa, how can i hurt you?"

Silence on the other end, followed by a male voice going "wow, can we get to know each other first before you do? " I was so flustered i had to put him on hold. One of the other girls had to take the call and he was laughing and wanted to continue to speak to me lol.

Hehe This is funny. I know how embarrassing it is... I'm used to ending phone calls to family members with "I love you!" and I don't do many phone calls for work. It's the most embarrassing feeling in the world to be hanging up with a client and suddenly you hear your own voice saying "Bye, I love you!" Oh my!

My husband had this happen to him, I am telling my husbands stories but not mine LOL! He had just finished talking to me on the phone and one of his co workers called him to check on something, hubby ended the call by saying " I Love ya" his co worker said aww I love you to man! He has yet to let my husband live that one down.

It was last September that I bought my new cellphone. I was at work and by the call of the nature, I looked for a rest room. I sitted on the bowl and suddenly my cellphone ringed. I had placed it in my jeans pocket, so I stand up quickly and got my cellphone. Unfortunately, fell down in the bowl. What should I do? This is my first cellphone with camera. I bought this from my first salary. That was a holy phone for me. What I did is, I immediately got the phone from the bowl.. hahhahaha I am so embarrassed as my friend came into the toilet and asked "any problem?" I answered slowly, "no,thanx"

As embarrassing as this is, it can still make me laugh when I hear it or think about it when it happened to me. I have to watch myself with email and even forum/blog posts, too. If I've been writing to family around the same time, I have this big fear of ending a business mail with "I love you!" Ugh, I'd better STOP thinking about it or it may become a self-fulfilled prophecy.

These should be made into a book for the office - long shelf-life and easy to identify with. Very good stuff.
