Right thats how I Feel. no compassion for my family but yet I am putting in hours for you and your business. Yeah right, I can go somewhere else where I will be appreciated.

Yes, my boss would completely understand having to leave for a family emergency. I know that some are not as nice but I cannot imagine even thinking twice about allowing someone to leave due to an emergency.

The job that I have now is great, but in my previous job, I had to take a medical leave and my boss called me into her office and screamed at me. I was so shaken up I could hardly speak, but I finally did manage to tell her to call my lawyer if she had anything more to say. Then I walked out.
