How long in current job? - Page 2

I've been self-employed since 1999, but before that, I was 10+ years in the same job. I never really got burned out, though, because I made good money and had alot of different co-workers.

I guess that variety within a job helps prevent burnout, then? Sounds like something I need!

I've been in my current job for seven years. Unless, a higher-paying job where I can hone or utilize more my skills, I'd stick with this one. The job is quite simple and I get to spend more time with my family.

Since meeting and marrying my husband, I've been unable to hold onto a job for more than 8 months. The company he works for constantly moves him around and we all go with him. My resume looks like hell, but none of my job changes are b/c of anything wrong on my part (I guess that's a good thing). The pros of everchanging jobs is, I guess all the experience I've gained over the years.
