Lately, Mondays are busy for me, as I have a client who is giving me a sizabe weekly assignment on Fridays that has to be completed by the next Friday. That project becomes my focus for Mondays. I start off with cereal and coffee and just plunge in. Before I know it, it is getting close to suppertime.

I just cut myself some slack. I listen to great music, get my to-do list together for the week, and just take it one step at a time. I try not to let myself get *too* stressed about it if I can help it. Monday is just another day. Plus, I start planning for the next weekend.

It is actually Wednesday that threatens to blow my schedule out of the water. Normally, I have gotten far enough with any assignments that I want to treat myself with some down time, instead of checking on some new assignments to snag.

I find that if I plunge right into my work instead of dawdling, I can get into a work rhythm right away. If I procrastinate, it sets things off to a slower pace. I can procrastinate pretty good so I avoid it.
