I like hats - I have an old Homburg from my Grandad - genuine 1930's. I've worn it periodically, and now you mentioned it, I should maybe start wearing it again.

Default Many worlds

It's good to say you had been there or you had both the experience of being under someone and being your own boss. Our worry here was how do you threat if you say, for example hire an assistant? Will you be too demanding or as the long as the job is done, you wouldn't enjoy breathing down someone else's neck?

As your own manager... do you keep yourself on task? I think that is one positive about having a manager. She makes sure we stay on target, and get our work done. I am afraid that if I was my own boss, I'd take too many excuses from myself.

Being own manager means not to be serious for work I think.
Nobody wants to be 100% punctual at own work. Then if the manager is not puntual then whole work can be damaged.

Default Your own boss

When you are your own boss what moves you is the deadline if you work in such a situation, and it's the same deadline that moves your immediate boss and everyone else above him/her. There are few businesses where you don't have to meet a deadline, and when that is the case you are in before several hours and maybe your leave your workplace late.

Sometimes I wish I had someone standing over me, telling me to get my work done. I always meet my deadlines, but sometimes I'm up until the early hours doing it.

Being your own manager is always good. No one to yell at you!
