I have, on occasion brought in my acoustic guitar to work. I've also brought my electric with a practice amp. No one complained In fact, my manager is a guitarist, and he asked if i'd practice in his office once when it was particularly quiet at work

I rember when I was in high school, me and my friends started to catch on that our teacher was not the brightest. So I tried wearing a hooded sweatshirt, and she was okey with it. The next day I was there with my hood on, and my cd player on. Since the hood was up, she couldn't see the headphones. I don't think this would work since normally people would catch on.

Wearing a hoodie at work would definately not impress my manager
Reading is good for breaks, I tend to get lots of people checking out the title and author.
