Default Death to Lousy Hardware!!

There is that great scene in the movie Office Space where they take the FAX out in the field and whack it with the bat. Anybody else have this fantasy?

No, but I have wanted to approach the printer with a Magnum and stare it down and say, "Go ahead - Make my day!"

Arrrg, the printer! I had such issues with paper jams on that stupid thing. At one point I was 9 months pregnant and trying to wrestle with it and almost burst into tears. Lousy hormones.

Printers normally hate me. Seems to be inkjets especially.

Luckily so far my laser printer lasted 2.5 years before it filled with dust and printed smudges. Hopefully will continue - but no more inkjets. Ever.

Default PCs

Most offices can afford to change their PCs every five years or so, while the average guy might have to keep it at least ten years, and the latest PCs around the office are very fast and can accomplish a lot.

Heck, there are times when I want to do that to my equipment at home...but that could be an expensive therapy session.

Yes, it seems that it's always easier to break and trash equipment that you have not paid out of your very own pockets

My office machine fantasy is to take the multi-line phone with it's cord that was WAAAY to long, and wrap it around the phone, and throw the phone in the huge paper shredder!
