All data passing through any internet server can be traced. If you have a packet sorting program (usually freeware and easy to get), and access to any kind of networking equipment with a terminal option (ie. nearly all of them), you can trace and record all the data going through it. Putting it together takes longer but there are a number of programs out there that can put together just about anything that is sent through a network.
Data is meant to be readable at either end of the conduit, so it can easily be duplicated, recorded, and decoded.
The only question is, would your company really pay someone to do all that? The only people with money to waste on that kind of thing would be the government.
