Gossips

I know that gossiping goes on alot in alot of workplaces. But I can remember one person that spent more time on gossiping then they did on their work. And hurt alot of peoples feeling in the process. Do you see this alot where you work and how do you deal with it?

I've just started a new job, and I've already noticed a few people who seem to think their job is gossiping. I just try to keep my mouth shut and bear with it; I don't want to get on anyone's bad side since I'm still so new.

Gossiping makes me angry, it's one thing to pass news around but quite another for unsubstatiated rumour.

I finally figured out that people that gossip are just trying to make up for their own inadequacies. They don't feel good about themselves, so they try to make everyone else look worse by comparision.

You hit the nail on the head mamab. I could not agree with you more. I just try to stay away from the gossips. Far less trouble that way.
