Default Bringing kids to work

Does your job allow you to bring your kids to your job? I used to bring my daughter to help me out every now and then.

When I worked in a blood bank for a while, I took my sons to see the lab when I picked up my paycheck. They would hang out with the lab rats...um...guys and learn little things about blood banking that most kids their age ever knew.

Heh, if I did have kids they wouldn't be allowed past the High Voltage signs

Although, my friend's dad just wandered into our (supposedly secure) workplace and started looking for him!

Wow, what kind of work do you do that you deal with high voltage?

I'm a computer technician but I work with all kinds of equipment. Power supplies, UPS, CRT monitors. That kind of thing. There are warning signs all over the place and battery acid on the floor

I think it is a great experience for a kid to go to where their parents work. It gives them a better grasp of what work is.
