Google Stuns With Profit Earnings

Google, the online industry’s popular search engine, revealed a surprise today when it went against the current economic recession data and posted an increase in revenue for the first quarter. Google stated that profits were up by thirty-one percent.

Results from a huge earnings showed that the first quarter of 2008 gave Google the amount of 1.31 billion US dollars up from 1 billion US dollars, mostly from a growth on paid advertising.

However, Google’s shares recently plummeted before this information was released, but went up by seventeen percent after this information was released.
